This Golden Bears Grateful Dead Night Tie Dye Shirt is a two-sided design, and each side tells part of the story.

The front opens with “CALIFORNIA” arched across the chest in bold gold lettering with a vintage, concert-poster feel. Beneath it sits a shield-shaped frame trimmed in gold stripes. Inside, two cartoon bears dance side by side: a golden dancing bear with a navy collar, mid-step and grinning, and a Cal mascot-style bear in a navy “Cal” sweater and cap, arms thrown wide. Music notes float above them, and Sather Tower, the Campanile that defines the Berkeley skyline, rises in the background. At the base of the shield, the Cal script logo sits inside a navy circle crowning a skull emblem inspired by classic Grateful Dead artwork.

The back shifts from campus to gameday. “GRATEFUL BEARS” stretches across the shoulders in the same retro lettering. Below, the two bears walk hand in hand toward a packed stadium, seen from behind as if heading through the gates together.
