It takes the most famous opening words in American history and hands them straight to the people of Brooklyn.

The We the People Of Brooklyn Shirt is built entirely around typography, and that choice is what gives it presence. “We The People” is stacked in large, bold Old English–style blackletter across the chest, the kind of ornate script associated with historic documents, classic newspaper mastheads, and New York’s long tradition of heritage lettering. Directly beneath, “of Brooklyn” appears in a smaller version of the same script, with a tiny “of” tucked above “Brooklyn” so the borough name reads like a signature at the bottom of a declaration.
