When Rams Offensive Line Coach Ryan Wendell stepped off the team bus rocking a tropical floral button-up, he didn’t just turn heads—he set a new standard for coaching fashion. Now, you can own the exact look that became an instant meme and a symbol of the Rams’ loose-but-lethal attitude heading into 2026.
LA Rams Layers Wears OL Coach Ryan Wendell Hawaiian Shirt – The Ultimate West Coast Fan Statement
The shirt is the definitive piece of fan gear for the modern football enthusiast. Moving away from the repetitive cycle of simple logo tees and heavy jerseys, this button-up offers a refreshing aesthetic that aligns perfectly with the sunny, energetic culture of Los Angeles. The design features a deep “Rams Royal” blue background, instantly recognizable to any member of the “Ramily,” punctuated by vibrant yellow hibiscus flowers and palm trees that evoke the quintessential LA lifestyle.
Scattered amidst the tropical flora are the iconic Rams head logos and the bold “LA” insignias, creating a pattern that is busy enough to be stylish but organized enough to look sharp. It is designed to be worn untucked, capturing that breezy, confident energy that Coach Wendell displayed during team travel.
Why The Design Went Viral?
The design exploded on social media because it shattered the “serious coach” stereotype; seeing the burly, bearded Ryan Wendell trade his tactical headset and polo for a breezy, vacation-ready floral shirt created a hilarious and endearing contrast that fans adored. It signaled a loose, confident locker room culture that resonated with the fanbase, turning a simple travel outfit into a symbol of “Big Man Swag” and team unity. The image of him walking with a backpack, looking like he was ready for a luau rather than a grueling game, instantly became a meme for “handling business with style.”

The Jersey is great
Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
