Kat Abughazaleh For Illinois IL09 Shirt | Wear Your Dissent

In a political climate this intense, you have to laugh to keep from crying. Introducing the Kat Abughazaleh For Illinois IL09 Shirt —the defining piece of political satire for the 2025-2026 election cycle. This shirt is more than just fabric and ink; it’s a snapshot of a moment, a statement of dissent, and a badge of honor all rolled into one. It perfectly captures the surreal journey of a progressive campaign in Illinois’s 9th District, making it an essential item for supporters, political junkies, and fans of sharp, topical humor.

The design is simple, direct, and devastatingly funny. It features the familiar “KAT ABUGHAZALEH FOR CONGRESS IL-09” branding, immediately recognizable to anyone following her campaign. Below it, the punchline lands with perfect comedic timing: “I RAN FOR CONGRESS AND ALL I GOT WAS A FELONY INDICTMENT.” This gallows-humor slogan directly references the candidate’s real-life federal indictment for protesting, turning what her supporters call a “political prosecution” into a wearable piece of art.

This shirt is for those who are paying attention. It’s a direct nod to the supporters of Kat Abu and her progressive platform, as well as a broader statement on First Amendment rights and the criminalization of protest. In an era where political lines are sharply drawn, this tee allows you to show where you stand without saying a word. It’s a conversation-starter, a way to find like-minded individuals, and a method of showing solidarity with a candidate who is facing the full weight of the federal government for her activism.

Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
