This Josh Allen Bills Carson Cap is more than a hat. It’s a story. It’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit of Buffalo—all embodied in a cap made famous by Josh Allen himself. This is the “Carson Cap,” a meticulously crafted of the iconic headwear worn by the Bills’ superstar quarterback, designed by one of his biggest (and youngest) fans.

This cap’s journey began as part of a season-long initiative between Josh Allen, in his role as New Era’s “Director of Billustration,” and Oishei Children’s Hospital. Nine patients were given the chance to design a custom cap for Allen to wear to a home game, with the game-worn hat being auctioned to benefit the Patricia Allen Fund, which supports the hospital’s critical care teams.
Carson’s design tells a story of incredible perseverance. At just 7 years old, he was rushed to OCH after a high fever led to septic shock, cardiac arrest, and multiple strokes, leaving him unable to walk. But Carson fought back. With determination and extensive physical therapy, he regained his strength, defied the odds, and walked out of the hospital on his own.
His design reflects that journey:
The Golden Panel: The bright, crayon-style yellow front panel is full of life.
The Bison: A child’s pure, determined drawing of the charging Bills logo.
The Details: The brim features colorful concentric lines, while the side panel includes hearts, other doodles, and the proud signature of the artist himself: “Carson.”

This cap is for the passionate Bills fan who values community as much as a win. It’s for the Josh Allen admirer who respects his off-field character. It’s for the collector of unique football moments and for anyone who wants to wear a symbol of hope and childhood resilience.
