The In The Surveillance State We’re All Cam Girls Shirt is for people who joke about being watched, the ones who wave at doorbell cameras and suspect their phone is listening. They wear it to concerts, coffee shops, campus hangouts, and weekend parties, anywhere their dry, slightly unhinged sense of humor gets a reaction.

In The Surveillance State We’re All Cam Girls Shirt – Smile, You’re Always Recording

The In The Surveillance State We’re All Cam Girls T-shirt is built to look like a warning sign that somehow went off the rails. On a black shirt, the words “IN THE” appear at the top in bold, slanted white capital letters, leading the eye straight into the main graphic.

The centerpiece is a rectangular sign panel with rounded corners, framed by a crisp white border and a dark gray band. Across the top sits a bright blue rounded label reading “SURVEILLANCE STATE” in tall, condensed white lettering, the kind of typography you’d expect on regulatory or safety signage. That blue pop of color is the first thing most people notice from across a room.

Below it, a clean white panel shows the visual joke. On the left, a wall-mounted security camera is angled downward, lens aimed directly at the right side of the frame. There, a black silhouette of a woman with long, windswept hair reclines in the iconic mudflap pose. The camera and the figure face each other, turning a simple pictogram into a little scene of being watched.

Underneath the sign, “WE’RE ALL CAM GIRLS” finishes the sentence in the same bold, slanted white type as the opening words. Read top to bottom, the shirt delivers its line in three beats: setup, image, punchline.

The overall mood is deadpan and mischievous. It looks official enough to make people stop and read, then rewards them with a joke that’s equal parts absurd and pointed. It fits naturally at casual hangouts, concerts, bars, art shows, college events, and anywhere ironic graphic tees are part of the dress code.

Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
