The Harry Styles I Am A Rat Shirt brings back the night Harry Styles stepped out of a full Pizza Rat costume on Halloween, October 31, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. The shirt is a punchline to Harry Styles’ Halloween costume. On the final night of his Madison Square Garden residency, Harry came on stage as “Pizza Rat,” carrying an oversized foam slice. Pizza Rat is the 2015 viral video of a rat dragging a slice of pizza down the stairs of a New York City subway station, a clip that became shorthand for scrappy, relentless city life.

Later in the show, Harry took off the costume but didn’t drop the bit. He stayed in rat ears, a tail, brown shorts and the white I AM A RAT shirt. That turned a one-time costume into a plain-language joke anyone could read from the back row.

That’s what the shirt means: a big star happily calling himself a New York rat, on Halloween, in the city’s most famous arena. It’s also part of Harryween, Harry’s tradition of themed Halloween concerts, which started at Madison Square Garden during Love on Tour in 2021. For fans, the phrase now stands for that whole night: the costume, the city tribute, and the emotional close of a record 30-show run.
