The Chicago Bears Grater Hat Shirt centers on a detailed, illustrated brown bear with a deadpan, unbothered expression. A silver box grater sits sideways on its head like a hat, its rows of holes clearly visible, making the cheese reference impossible to miss. The bear wears aviator sunglasses with bright blue frames, and the lenses reflect bold stripes of red, orange, and white.

Below the head, the bear is dressed in a dark zip-up track jacket with orange-red stripes on the collar, giving the look a retro, sideline-swagger feel. The palette leans into navy and orange, colors any Chicago fan will recognize instantly. A clean white outline frames the whole illustration, so it pops against the navy shirt like a sticker.

The idea has a real backstory. A Houston novelty company originally sold foam cheese hats until the Packers sent them a cease-and-desist letter. Instead of fighting it, the company created a cheese grater hat. That hat exploded when DJ Moore wore it in the locker room after the Bears beat the Packers in overtime in December 2025. Caleb Williams wore one the next day at his foundation’s holiday food giveaway. After the Bears’ come-from-behind Wild Card win over Green Bay on January 10, 2026, Williams, Moore, and Colston Loveland put the hats on during the postgame broadcast, and Williams even grated real cheese on set.

This shirt turns that moment into wearable art. The bear stands for Chicago, the grater stands for victory over the cheeseheads, and the whole design says “we won this one” without saying anything at all.
