Ready to make an unforgettable statement this tournament season? The And On The Seventh Day God Made The MAC A Two Bid League Shirt is the ultimate conversation starter for hardcore college basketball enthusiasts. Representing the fierce underdog spirit of the Mid-American Conference, this viral sensation perfectly captures the sheer joy, disbelief, and humor of securing multiple spots in the big dance.

And On The Seventh Day God Made The MAC A Two Bid League Dave Portnoy Shirt – The Bracketology Miracle

Stepping away from generic sports merchandise, this shirt features stark, bold white typography that demands attention. The design is intentionally minimalist, allowing the sheer humor and hyper-niche sports commentary of the text to take center stage. The block lettering ensures the message is legible from across a crowded sports bar or from the upper decks of an arena.

The “MAC” stands for the Mid-American Conference. In the context of the national postseason tournament, mid-major conferences like the MAC typically only receive one guaranteed entry—awarded to the winner of their conference tournament. A “two-bid league” means that an additional team from the conference performed so exceptionally well during the regular season that they were awarded an “at-large” invitation by the selection committee. Because this is a notoriously rare occurrence for mid-major conferences, the phrase humorously employs biblical hyperbole (“And on the seventh day God made…“) to suggest that the MAC securing two tournament spots is nothing short of a divine, miraculous act of creation.

Why Did This Item Go Viral?

This MAC A Two Bid League Shirt caught fire across social media platforms after keen-eyed viewers spotted a passionate fan wearing it proudly in the tournament stands during a national broadcast. The incredibly niche, insider-joke nature of the text immediately resonated with the fiercely loyal online community of college basketball enthusiasts and bracketologists. Sports influencers and popular meme accounts quickly amplified the screenshot, transforming the clever statement into an overnight symbol of mid-major conference pride. Its meteoric rise represents a perfect storm of broadcast timing, witty sports commentary, and the universal love for an underdog story finally getting its due on the big stage.

Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
