The cap features a deep navy front panel and bill, contrasting beautifully with a classic white rear profile. At the center of the crown sits the custom Flagship City Kitties logo: a fierce, stylized tiger head bursting with vivid orange, navy, and white accents, complete with intense, piercing yellow eyes. To tie the entire look back to the parent club, the iconic “Detroit Tigers” script logo is elegantly featured along the edge of the brim. It is a visual celebration of baseball culture, blending minor league eccentricity with major league prestige.
The Meaning Behind the “Flagship City Kitties”
The “Flagship City Kitties” moniker is a brilliant, multi-layered tribute to local history and baseball legacy. Erie is proudly known as the “Flagship City,” a title honoring its role as the home port of the U.S. Brig Niagara, Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry’s famous flagship from the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. Meanwhile, the “Kitties” designation playfully refers to the young, developing players of the Detroit Tigers organization. Launched specifically to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the affiliation between Erie and Detroit, the name beautifully merges hometown naval pride with the journey of future baseball superstars.

The Jersey is great
Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
