Step up to the plate and celebrate a beloved Wrigley Field tradition with the 2026 Chicago Cubs City Connect Ice Cream Hat. This City Connect release captures the sweet essence of game day, blending iconic baseball nostalgia with modern fan culture.
2026 Chicago Cubs City Connect Ice Cream Helmet Cap – Catch the Sweet Side of Baseball
The hat completely reimagines how fans express their loyalty. Rooted in the classic, rich “Cubbie Blue” colorway, this cap commands attention with its highly unique front-facing logo. Instead of the traditional team crest, the front features a beautifully embroidered mini blue batting helmet overflowing with classic vanilla soft serve and finished with vibrant, multi-colored sprinkles.
Turn the cap around, and you are greeted by the timeless, universally recognized red Cubs “C” outlined in white, ensuring that the legacy of the franchise is proudly displayed from every angle. The adjustable strap features a classic metallic buckle finish, seamlessly integrating a vintage aesthetic with this modern, whimsical design. This cap represents a major shift in sports apparel, moving away from hyper-competitive imagery and leaning heavily into the fun, communal aspect of attending a baseball game.
A Tribute to Wrigley Field Traditions
For generations, one of the most exciting parts of attending a baseball game has been the food, and nothing screams “summer at the ballpark” quite like ice cream served inside a miniature plastic replica batting helmet. The design of this 2026 City Connect cap is a direct homage to that shared cultural touchstone.
The helmet sundae represents the pure, unadulterated joy of childhood summers, the seventh-inning stretch, and the memories made with family and friends in the stands. By placing this iconic treat front and center, the Chicago Cubs are honoring the fans’ everyday experiences. The sprinkle details signify the colorful, diverse, and vibrant community of Cubs Nation, making this cap a wearable piece of shared nostalgia and hometown pride.

The Jersey is great
Wow, all three! Website was standard e-commerce, customer service promptly responded to my questions twice — though a bit indirectly, delivery tracking was a bit of a black box but once item cleared New Jersey customs I knew it was on its way.
